Welcome to Traffic Plus+, the ultimate Lore-Friendly traffic expansion for Grand Theft Auto V.
Traffic Plus+ (or TP+) is designed to radically enhance the single-player experience by expanding and optimizing the traffic system throughout the San Andreas map.
What makes TP+ so special? Imagine the current traffic system in GTA V: every time the game is updated, new vehicles are added, but they never appear in the single-player traffic, remaining exclusive to Online mode or accessible only through a trainer. This limits the variety and liveliness of the game world.
Traffic Plus+ changes all that. By using the vehicles already present in the game and Online expansions, TP+ integrates hundreds of new vehicles into everyday traffic without requiring the installation of external mods.
How does TP+ work? Each vehicle has been carefully selected and placed in appropriate areas of the map. You'll never see supercars off-roading or unrealistic vehicles like the Oppressor Mk II, Deluxo, Stromberg, and similar. TP+ focuses on providing a coherent experience, maintaining logic and realism in traffic patterns and law enforcement jurisdictions.
After over two years of development and refinement, TP+ stands out for its attention to detail. The mod is based on three main files:
popgroups.ymt: Contains the vehicle groups included and compatible with Traffic Plus+.
popcycle.dat: Distributes the vehicle groups across different areas of the map, ensuring that each zone has appropriate variety for its context.
vehiclesmodelsets.meta: Regulates scenarios such as plane landings, simulated emergencies, and realistic NPC behavior, further diversifying traffic interaction and enhancing immersion.
What’s new in TP+? With Traffic Plus+ 3.0, the revolution of GTA V’s traffic reaches new heights. Thanks to the implementation of vehicles created by community modders, TP+ now supports over 1,800 additional vehicles that can appear in traffic as naturally as those from GTA Online. These vehicles are seamlessly integrated into the map, with balanced spawn rates and appropriate area distribution.
If you want to further personalize your experience, you can add your favorite vehicles through our Discord server, where you'll find complete support for installing new vehicles. However, even without additional installations, Traffic Plus+ works perfectly without affecting performance (compatible with various gameconfig setups).
